On Saturday, April 11, 2015, the Georgetown School of Continuing Studies will play host to the “DC Hockey Analytics Conference”. This one-day conference, surrounding the growing presence of analytics in hockey and the NHL, will be hosted by the Georgetown University master’s in Sports Industry Management program and the Georgetown Sports Analysis, Business, and Research Group. Current students, industry professionals, and all other guests who are interested in learning about and further developing the analytics within the sport of hockey are welcome. 

The conference is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and end by 5:00 p.m. Following the conclusion of the event, there will be an informal meet-up at a nearby restaurant to watch Saturday evening’s NHL action.
