Hoya Pitchmasters: Pitching 101
Pitching isn't just about securing investors or clients -- it's about getting buy-in on your ideas; a skill that everyone needs in the workplace. You're invited to attend this hands-on session on pitching with Scott Thompson, Partner and Senior Vice President of Foresight CFO and Tech Management Alum ('15). He will share his perspective on what makes a good pitch, then we'll put our skills to work by crafting actual pitches to share with the group for feedback.
Join Hoya Pitchmasters, an event series hosted by the Public Relations & Corporate Communications master's program at Georgetown School of Continuing Studies, for a chance to work on building your confidence and skills in public speaking in a supportive environment without a grade on the line. Attendees are expected to participate in hands-on speaking activities, and every session focuses on tips and tricks to improve public speaking and pitching skills.
This event is open to Georgetown SCS students, alumni, and prospective students as well as any interested professionals.
