Academic Calendar

With a broad range of courses, programs, and degrees, we offer countless year-round learning opportunities. You can find key dates for the academic year on our multi-year academic calendar. All dates and deadlines must be met in accordance with Eastern Time (ET).

The University Registrar maintains the official academic calendar for Georgetown University. Tuition refund periods for degree program withdrawals from full-semester fall and spring classes can also be found on their website.

Many of our noncredit professional certificate programs run on alternative semester schedules. Please review your certificate program's curriculum for the most up-to-date information.

Please Note: If you are withdrawing from a degree program course, you should consult with your academic program, Student Financial Services (scsfinaid@georgetown.edu), the Office of Global Services (internationalservices@georgetown.edu), and the Office of Veteran Services (veteranservices@georgetown.edu) as appropriate to find out how schedule changes could affect your financial aid, loan, repayment, visa, and benefit status. You are required to notify your academic program in writing of your intent to withdraw and you must process all required paperwork for such actions by the published deadlines.
