Course Description:
The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the formation and operation of business enterprises, concentrating on sole proprietorships, general and limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, limited liability companies, and the business corporation. Students will be introduced to the advantages and disadvantages of each form of business enterprise and the formation, operation, and dissolution of business entities. At the conclusion of the course, students will understand how to complete relevant corporate forms, including articles of incorporation, minutes of directors' meetings, and directors' written consent actions.
