Leadership and Ethics

June 20-27, 2010

How do you inspire people? How can you get them to follow you down an uncertain path? How can you bring people together to work toward a common goal? True leadership goes far beyond a title. As someone that people follow, you must have an ethical code that allows you to make the best decision for everybody—not an easy task.

This summer, develop your own leadership capabilities, style, and ethical code while learning how to leverage partnerships and build coalitions that enhance your strength. Visit area corporations, government agencies, Capitol Hill offices, and nonprofit organizations to learn from those who make hard decisions every day. Work with a leadership coach to test your skills through simulation exercises. Most importantly, learn how to make a habit of empowering people to do extraordinary things.

Washington, D.C., is the international hub of leadership, and Georgetown is where those leaders come to share their ideas and learn from others. As a student here this summer, you’ll follow in the footsteps of presidents, corporate CEOs, cabinet secretaries, and foreign heads of state who have studied here before, during, and after their time at the top.

2010 Tuition:
$1,900 includes tuition, room, and board.
