Developing a Diversity Communication, Branding and Marketing Strategy
Course Description:
As diversity efforts have multiplied, so too has the need to brand, market and communicate both internally and externally an organization’s commitment to diversity. In addition, persons working in diversity must be able to help their internal and external clients respond to diversity communication in a crisis situation as well as a matter of practice. In this course, learn how to:
- Bring coherence to a variety of messages shaped under a corporate umbrella of products, services, and employee and stakeholder relations
- Develop and message a demonstrated commitment to diversity
- Use tools and strategies for developing the value proposition for diversity
- Develop a template which develops and protects your organization’s diversity brand
- Develop messages for leadership on diversity
- Respond effectively to a diversity crisis from a marketing and branding perspective
- Market your organization as an employer of choice
- Grow your brand after a “diversity disaster”
- Select and manage media on diversity
- Respond during litigation
- Deepen public appreciation of a strong organization diversity commitment
