Employee Engagement And Internal Communications

The average person receives about 3,000 messages a day (3001 if you are reading this course description).  How do you, as a professional communicator, cut through the clutter to engage and educate your most important customer--- your employees?  This course will explore the power of engaging your employees or volunteers and the tools and tactics required to create a successful strategy.  63% of companies said that aligning their employees to the strategy of their business is their No.1 employee communications goal, but just 37% report that their efforts have been successful.  “On purpose” communication with employees is a requirement in today’s workplace environment.  In this course, students will learn how employee engagement results in:

  • Improved impact on organizational goals and outcomes
  • Increased motivation, trust and a shared identity
  • Enhanced organizational public relations with external audiences
