Course Description:
When planning for diversity, organizations need to conduct a needs assessment to uncover the issues that should be addressed. Successfully conducted assessments must be designed to meet the needs of organizations and uncover the policies and procedures of practice rather than that of espoused value.
Participants will:
  • Develop a systematic process to guide diversity related decisions
  • Develop effective internal and external organizational scans
  • Identify questions and data sources
  • Evaluate potential data collection methods
  • Present data analysis findings
  • Present data analysis recommendations
  • Understand legal considerations
  • Develop a replicable model that can be applied by novices or experts
  • Provide a systemic perspective for decision makers
