TOEFL Grammar
| Course Number: | XEFL-203 |
Course Description:
A good knowledge of English grammar is essential to communicate effectively. After a short review of the main structures of English grammar, we will focus on increasingly complex language patterns. Throughout the course, we will extensively practice correct grammatical forms in both spoken and written activities. This approach will help participants to increase their ability to communicate in English as well as prepare for the Internet-based TOEFL.
Required Attendance at First Session & Placement Test:
- Attendance at the first class session is mandatory.
- Students must be present at the first class session to complete the placement test.
- The placement test is given to establish each student’s English proficiency level.
- Placement is made by the faculty strictly on the basis of performance on this test.
- Students who do not attend the first class meeting will be required to withdraw from the course and will be responsible for any associated withdrawal charges. See the Withdrawal and Refund Policy.
- Successful completion of one level does not imply automatic promotion to the next higher level.
Course Prerequisite:
Students must be conversational in English.
