TOEFL Writing

Course Description:
This course is designed to prepare students to take the writing component of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). During the class sessions, students will:

  1. Learn a variety of writing skills and test-taking strategies,
  2. Explore the vocabulary and sentence structures which relate to a particular writing topic,
  3. Write complete essays on TOEFL writing topics, and
  4. Edit and correct their essays paying particular attention to learning the rules of correct grammar in English.

Student essays will be evaluated based on the TOEFL writing scale.
