TOEFL Writing

Course Description:
This course is designed to prepare students to take the writing component of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). During the class sessions, students will:
- Learn a variety of writing skills and test-taking strategies,
- Explore the vocabulary and sentence structures which relate to a particular writing topic,
- Write complete essays on TOEFL writing topics, and
- Edit and correct their essays paying particular attention to learning the rules of correct grammar in English.
Student essays will be evaluated based on the TOEFL writing scale.
