July 11-August 14, 2010

This intensive five-week program introduces you to business leadership and provides a solid foundation in topics from business law and finance to strategy, marketing, and organizational planning and behavior. Earn 3 college credits as you study with professors from Georgetown University’s prestigious McDonough School of Business and leading Washington-area business experts.

You will also participate in an engaging, hands-on business simulation conducted by Team Business.  In the simulation, you will experience the world of entrepreneurship by creating it with your classmates.  Working in teams, you and other of Fundamentals of Business students compete with one another as a facilitator guides you through the process of running your very own startup company - from investing in hard assets and manufacturing to financial management and advertising.

Enhance your learning experience by enrolling in an additional afternoon class from Summer College, Session II.  When taken with a second summer course of your choice, Fundamentals of Business will give you an exceptional foundation for college and a future career in business.  Admission to Fundamentals of Business guarantees acceptance into Summer College.
