Students will be introduced to classic texts from the Catholic tradition. Although the course will proceed chronologically through the Christian centuries, the approach will be more systematic than historical: each work will be considered as yet another realization of a momentous and foundational religious event. Undergraduates who have completed less than 51 credits must have the permission of the assistant dean for BALS to register.
