EEO Law: The Fundamentals

Course Description:

Persons doing diversity work must understand and appreciate the importance of the Law of EEO to the work. This course provides participants with an overview of EEO Law and applies it to the practice of diversity.

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • ADEA
  • ADA
  • Section 1981
  • Section 1983
  • Emerging Issues in EEO Law
  • Harassment: Race, Religion, Sexual, Racial, Disability and others
  • Retaliation
  • Employer’s legal obligation in diversity
