Understanding power and its dynamics is a key challenge for leaders. Topics that will be examined include identifying sources of power in organizations, how to build a base of power, and different strategies and tactics of power and influence. In addition, the course will examine the role of "emotional intelligence" in successfully managing the politics of relationships.
