PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Preparation

Course Description:
This PMBOK? - aligned course prepares you for the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification examination and gets your project management knowledge to a "more advanced" level of performance. This course prepares you for the PMP certification examination through a review of the PMBOK, applications of study aides, and test simulations. Students taking the PMP Preparation course should be familiar with the PMBOK and have completed the PMI-required 35 hours of project management related course work.

In addition to classroom sessions and course materials, participants also receive access to an online question bank for 90 days to practice PMP exam questions. 

Course Objectives:
At the completion of the course, a successful student will be able to:

  • Describe the PMBOK knowledge areas.
  • Complete online test simulations.
  • Develop test taking strategies
  • Review fundamental project management formulas.

Course Prerequisites:
Participants must be familiar with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 4th Edition (available at PMI.org or online book sellers).
