Business Ethics

Major issues in business ethics will be addressed from a liberal arts “values” perspective in this course. Case studies, audio-visual vignettes, and management simulations and exercises will be combined with class discussion to analyze the following topics among others: organizational due process; employee rights; employment discrimination; managerial values and organizational culture; ethical decision-making in an international and global context; organizational governance; environmental issues; consumer and community stakeholder issues; and ethical codes of conduct. (Human values course.) Required course for Entrepreneurship and Organizational Leadership concentrations.
