This course focuses on journalism that can make a difference. As a journalist, you have the power to shine a light on people and issues too often lost in the shadows. You will use that power to report and write a substantive article. You will receive intensive feedback through the workshop format. We also will explore how your project could work in a multimedia platform. Assigned reading focuses on the work of writers who give "voice to the voiceless."
