July 11-18, 2010
Georgetown University is renowned as a center of international dialogue, a venue that international leaders often choose to state their positions and calls for action. International Relations students explore complex global issues and the forces that drive them in Washington, learning from distinguished Georgetown faculty and prominent guest speakers who themselves have been key players in international diplomacy and crisis management. Past speakers have included leaders from the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Counterterrorism Center , and the International Organization for Migration.
Your course of study includes an array of topics ranging from security and economics to U.S. foreign policy, international law, and ethics. Field trips take you to a number of Washington institutions that shape foreign policy, including Congress and foreign embassies; past visits have also included the Islamic Center and the Organization of American States. Learn how to think about issues, analyze international dynamics, project possible outcomes, and test your new skills as a decision maker in an international crisis simulation.
2010 Tuition:
