Course Description:
This course explores the critical importance of the "human factor" and its cultivation within an organization, using current developmental and measurement approaches such as performance consultation, intellectual capital, knowledge management, and psychometrics.

Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe both the theory and practice of human resource development (HRD), and how it fits into the larger context of strategic management.
  • Explore, within the context of their interests, needs, and particular situations, the applications of personal development to themselves and the people and groups they work with.
