The MPS Journalism program culminates in the "capstone" semester, during which students produce a substantial work ready for publication.  Students choose whether they wish to do a piece of original reporting for print, broadcast, or online media.
 
The course is open only to MPS Journalism students who are in their final semester of the program.

A minimum grade of "B" (3.00) or higher is required of students in the MPS Journalism Capstone to graduate regardless of their cumulative GPA.
