Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations and Corporate Communications

Message from the Dean

Strategic communications is a powerful tool for change. It can educate, motivate, and inspire us to look at ourselves and our world differently.

The Georgetown MPS program in Public Relations & Corporate Communications focuses on the positive role that communications plays in our lives. We prepare our students to use communications responsibly, with a clear understanding of ethics.

Our mission is to develop a dedicated cadre of communications leaders who are committed to using their skills, passion, and energy to create positive change that results in social, environmental, or economic impact.
Strategic communicators have so many professional opportunities—corporations, associations, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, public relations firms, or as entrepreneurs. We believe that our students have a competitive advantage— they are prepared to thrive in an environment of transparency and accountability.

We encourage you to decide for yourself if our approach is right for you. Talk to our students, compare our curriculum, and meet our professors who serve as role models for the power of communications to create impact.
