Linda Y. Kelleher is currently an instructor in Georgetown’s School of Continuing Studies. Prior to that she was at the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), a professional association representing corporate financial communicators. She held positions of increasing responsibility including senior vice president of professional development, interim CEO and most recently, executive vice president, responsible for external affairs, industry relations and quantifying professional best practices.

She also served on the editorial board of IR Update, NIRI’s official publication. Prior to that, she was director, consumer affairs and public liaison, National Association of Home Builders and before that assistant director, public affairs, Non-Prescription Medicine Manufacturers Association. She was also director, consumer affairs and an account executive, for Fraser/ Associates, the Washington, DC, office of Ruder & Finn. She began her career as a consumer reporter and assistant editor at Consumer News Inc.

Kelleher received a B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a certified association executive (CAE) and attended executive education programs at University of Michigan, Northwestern University and University of Pennsylvania, Wharton. Kelleher is active in a number of non-profits including co-chair of the Securities Task Force, Women in Housing and Finance, and, a member of the Ethics Council, American Society of Association Executives; OnBoarding Committee, Leadership Arlington; and, Community Resources and Relations Committee, Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing.
