Joy Bates Boyle founded Life’s Work, LLC, to create positive social change by strengthening the business and communications strategies of charitable organizations. Current clients include United Way of America, and Water For All, a South African nonprofit organization. She also recently edited a book on strategic planning. Ms. Boyle started her career in Washington on Capitol Hill and honed her communications and consulting skills as a senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard. She strengthened her expertise in philanthropy and charitable organizations while working as a social investment manager at the Case Foundation.
