Paralegal Studies Program

Curriculum

The Georgetown University Paralegal Studies Program awards a post-baccalaureate certificate upon completion and offers both part-time evening and full-time day options.

Semester Start/End Dates:

*Spring 2012 Evening Program begins January 10th and ends May 3rd

Evening Program

The part-time Evening Program consists of three 15-week semesters. Classes are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternate Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. until 9:50 p.m. First semester students can begin in either the fall (the week after Labor Day) or spring (the second wee in January).

Summer Intensive Program

The full-time Summer Intensive Program meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for 10-weeks, followed by a 4-week internship.  The program begins in the third week of May and ends the week before Labor Day.

Academic Support Program

The Academic Support Program assists first semester Paralegal Studies students in achieving academic success and gaining skill sets to obtain future employment as paralegals through subject matter study groups and skills workshops.
