HOUSING

Housing and Roommate Assignments

Students in the SWP are housed in July for fall and in December for spring and will be notified by email. At this time, students can also log on to their Housing at a Glance page (accessible through the Housing website) using their Net Id and password to see their housing assignment and their roommates.

Check-In
Check-in is in the Residence Hall Office (RHO) of the student's assigned building. SWP students who arrive late, can either check in at their RHO or in the Housing Services Office (Harbin 103), depending on how late they arrive. Costs
Georgetown University housing rates range from an estimated $3,900.00 to $4,700.00 per semester, depending on the occupancy rate and residence hall.

MEAL PLANS

Students can sign up for a meal plan online through the Georgetown University Dining Services website. Leo J. O'Donovan Dining Hall, the main dining hall on campus, is located on the southern end of campus.  A meal plan is required for most students living on campus. Read more about meal plan policies at the Georgetown University Dining Services website.

Students who select a meal plan which includes Flex Dollars can also use their Flex Dollars to dine at several locations on campus including Cosi Restaurant, Hoya CourtStarbucks, and Epicurean and Co. Restaurant. Students with special dietary needs, please contact the registered dietitian at 202-687-5379.

SUMMER

HOUSING

Students enrolled in the Semester in Washington Program are entitled to Georgetown University housing.  SWP students are not required to live in Georgetown University housing.

In the summer program, SWP students are housed together in one of Georgetown University's residency halls.  Accomodations for SWP students are available in Alumni Square, a complex of four-person apartments, each containing two bedrooms with two bunk beds each. In Summer 2013 students will reside in Henley Village, a five-person apartment complex.

Check-In

Housing Cost
Housing cost is about $2,000.00 for eight weeks. SWP students pay housing costs via MyAccess+, which will be posted a few days after students are enrolled in the program. Students withdrawing from the program must move out of Georgetown University residence halls by the close of business of the effective date of withdrawal.

MEAL PLANS

Semester in Washington students may sign up for a Georgetown University Meal Plan. In the summer, students sign up for meal plans on a weekly basis.
