Pre-College Programs

Georgetown’s Pre-College Programs offer the opportunity to experience life as a college student, without the pressure of grades. These non-credit programs span from accelerated, one-week institutes to three-week programs that equip you with the tools needed for college success. As a student, you will engage in hands-on learning, study alongside classmates from around the world, and explore exciting areas of study.

College Prep

U.S. students and fluent English speakersMake your college application stand out from the crowd. Learn tips and techniques for the new SAT test, craft a compelling personal essay for college applications, and engage with admissions advisors through workshops and college tours in the D.C. area.

 

English Intensive College Prep

International studentsThe English Intensive College Prep program focuses on preparation for the TOEFL & IELTS test and the U.S. college experience. Students will review TOEFL test-taking strategies and develop skills in listening, grammar, reading and writing while living on campus and interacting with native English speakers.

Pursue your passions and focus on a single area of study in a one-week program. Georgetown’s Institutes immerse you in an accelerated, hands-on learning experience that combines guest speakers, collaborative workshops, and off-site trips to some of D.C.’s top institutions.

Immersion Programs

The three-week Immersion Programs provide an intensive exploration of a single subject area. Live on campus, learn from prominent faculty, and gain valuable hands-on experience through case studies, workshops, and off-site trips in the nation’s capital.
