Georgetown University Center for Continuing and Professional Education is pleased to be the educational partner for Parenting’s Mom Congress. Mom Congress participants have two options for participating in educational programs through Georgetown’s School of Continuing Studies.
Option 1. Mom Congress Education Program Courses SCS offers non-credit, open enrollment courses designed to enhance your knowledge and skills in the areas of business, leadership, management, global affairs, and communications. These courses are post-baccalaureate level and are offered one to two times per year. Recipients of the Mom Congress Scholarship may apply their award to one Mom Congress Education Program Course.

Option 2. Mom Congress Subscription Seminar Series
For Parenting Mom Congress participants, SCS offers a seminar series focused on important topics regarding your children, families, communities and careers. The annual subscription seminar series includes two research-based discussions on issues related to children, families and communities, two hands-on practical workshops designed to help you apply new knowledge and two workshops designed to facilitate your personal effectiveness, at home, at work or in your community. Example topics include:
- Your Vision and Your Plan
- Financial Planning for Families
- Understanding and Leveraging Web 2.0 Tools
The Mom Congress Subscription Seminar Series culminates in a networking reception with Mom Congress participants, faculty and leadership of the School of Continuing Studies at Georgetown University and Parenting Magazine.
