- Just minutes away from Georgetown University is M Street, which is home to an array of boutiques, restaurants, galleries, coffee shops, and much more.
- A 10-minute taxi ride from campus will place you in the heart of Washington, DCthe National Mall. Visit the Capitol Building, Smithsonian Institutions, and the Washington Monument, to name a few.
- Washington, DC, is a very active community recently ranked as the fittest city in the United States. Close to campus you can find the Potomac River, perfect for kayaking, biking, or fishing.
- Within walking distance is the Mount Vernon Trail, which offers scenic views of the Pentagon, the Washington, DC, skyline, the Iwo Jima Monument, and Old Town Alexandria. You will find runners, walkers, and bicyclists taking in the sights on this trail.
