Georgetown Paralegal is pleased to announce its inaugural scholarship program for students admitted to the 2014 Summer Intensive Paralegal Studies Program. The scholarship committee will award four partial scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each. The scholarships are tuition credits that can be applied to cover tuition for the Summer Intensive Program.

Corey Brooks, director of the Paralegal Studies Program, launched the scholarship program as a means to demonstrate the program’s commitment to students and the profession. “We’ve talked to many students and believed offering a scholarship program would be the best way to show that we have listened and are seeking ways to support them as they pursue careers in the legal industry,” he says.

Only students admitted to the 2014 Summer Intensive Program are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Applicants must complete an application form and submit a personal response to one of two essay questions. The application deadline for the scholarship program is May 19, 2014. The deadline to submit an application for the Paralegal Studies Intensive Program is May 15, 2014.
