David holds the Endowed Chair in Investment Management at Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky. He is a Professor of Finance at Murray State University where he teaches classes in investments and portfolio management. David earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of North Texas in 1995. He received his MBA from Stephen F. Austin State University and his B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the American Finance Association. His current areas of research interest include: corporate governance issues, multinational financial management, hedging with derivatives, and securitized real estate.

David has published articles in Advances in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and Advances in Taxation. His credentials include Co-author of Dalton CFA^® Review: Study Notes Volume I and II (Dalton Publications, L.L.C.).
