Barbara Braham, Ph.D., MCC, is an Executive and Leadership Coach who works with leadership teams who want to move their organization forward and leaders who want to realize their potential. Her clients include leaders in not-for-profits, government, higher education, associations and corporations.
An accomplished author, Barbara has written eleven books and one e-book. Finding Your Purpose has been translated into seven languages. Be Your Own Coach was co-authored with Chris Wahl, also of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching program.
Barbara has been coaching in the Notre Dame Executive Integral Leadership Program since 2004 in collaboration with The Leadership Circle. She is currently studying with Dr. Susanne Cook-Greuter to become a certified scorer of the Maturity Assessment Profile (MAP) which assesses stages of adult development.
Barbara is certified to use a number of assessment tools including the MBTI, MAP, and The Leadership Circle 360, a developmentally oriented 360 tool.
A student of the Dharma, Barbara has practiced vipassana (mindfulness) meditation for the past 14 years and she spends four to six weeks in silence each year. Her research interests include stages of adult development and the intersection of Buddhist practice and executive coaching.
