Kyle Walton is at the Georgetown University Center for Continuing and Professional Education as an Assistant Director of Academic Programs. In this role she is responsible for ensuring that each of the certificate programs she manages maintains its position as the leading certifying body for industry related knowledge. She does this by working with faculty and industry experts to ensure that course content is accurate, informative, and delivered to students in an effective manner; by conducting market and industry analysis; and maintaining active relationships with industry associations.
She worked previously for DECA Inc., a national student organization, developing and delivering leadership and business-focused learning programs for undergraduates from colleges around the country. Prior to that Kyle was at Gunda Corporation, a traffic engineering firm in Houston, TX, serving as the new business development lead. Kyle is a member of the Organization Development Network, the American Society of Training and Development, and the American Marketing Association. She brings a depth of experience in marketing, management, organization development and adult education to her role at Georgetown University.
Kyle holds a master’s of science degree from George Mason University in Organization Development and Knowledge Management and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University in Colorado.
