Description:
The practice and profession of diversity and inclusion continues to grow. Many organizations have implemented diversity programming without a clear purpose or strategy. Consequently they have been only moderately successful in linking diversity and inclusion to organizational performance. This certificate program will help anyone with diversity responsibility gain the insight, skills, and tools needed to help organizations implement a strategic, long-term, sustainable approach to Diversity and Inclusion Management. The courses will introduce participants to the latest research in the discipline of diversity and inclusion and provide functional and relevant templates to effectively plan and implement a sustainable diversity strategy.

Georgetown University’s certificate program links continuing education in diversity and inclusion with graduate education in diversity and inclusion. The Center for Continuing and Professional Education offers a distinctive and unique program in Strategic Planning in Diversity that allows anyone with responsibility for diversity and inclusion to become more accomplished, qualified, and effective. The program emphasizes technical skills, effective communication, and strategic planning relevant to a wide variety of industries, sectors and disciplines. It is ideal for nonprofit, private sector, government, education and others.
