Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies

Summer Programs for High School Students

Jul 29 - Aug 5, 2012

The Law Institute is full for Summer 2012

Through lectures, field trips and discussion sections, you will learn about and see firsthand how laws are adjudicated and administered. From corporate attorneys and prosecutors to politicians and a sitting Supreme Court justice, many of the nation's lawmakers, administrators and interpreters received their educations at Georgetown. Woven into the introduction to jurisprudence that students receive here is a thorough examination of the most vexing issues of our day and a look at how America's legal institutions change as popular values, standards and perspectives evolve. The program ends with a final project; a complete mock trial at Georgetown University's Law School.
