Program Description:
Results-based leadership is essential for successful organizations today. Assessing progress helps a leader to take the pulse of an organization at any moment, then adapt as needed to achieve real outcomes. Making strategy operational involves more than articulating goals. Leaders must identify measurable targets then continually revisit both appropriateness status of these benchmarks. The Certificate in Strategy Performance Management provides practical tools a handle on where an organization is going how well it?s getting there. Participants examine elements, approaches, and models for successful management at the strategic level. Additionally, coursework will prepare students communicate outcomes to various stakeholders. Designed For:
This program is designed for managers responsible for creating, evaluating, and administering performance systems in organizations.  Consultants focused on organizational performance and development will benefit from certificate courses.

Format:
Courses meet on week nights from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, and all day Saturday, at the Clarendon Campus in Arlington, VA across from the Clarendon Metro stop. This certificate can be completed within six weeks.

Certificate Requirements:
Successful completion of all five courses is required to receive the Certificate in Strategy & Performance Management. Each course is 18 contact hours in duration. The certificate program comprises 90 contact hours, which is equivalent to 9.0 CEUs. Students must complete the courses within a two-year time period. Upon completion of the program, students receive a Certificate in Strategy & Performance Management from Georgetown University and an official transcript Courses can be taken independent of the certificate program.  Participants not seeking a certificate may take individual courses to fit their interests, or as electives to supplement coursework in other programs. Maximum learning benefit is obtained by taking all five courses in Sequence, leading to conferment of the certificate.

Program Prerequisites:
Participants in the certificate program must hold a bachelor's degree or the equivalent.  Any requests for exceptions to these requirements must be made in writing to the program director at CCPE. A TOEFL score is required for non-native speakers of English.

Tuition:
Each course is $800.00. The total tuition fee for the five courses in the certificate program is $4,000.00, excluding books.

Approximate cost: $100.00 used, in good condition.
