Non-Certificate Status Enrollment
Students may take up to three entry level paralegal courses before being admitted to the program.  After successful completion of these three classes (Grade of C or higher), students wishing to pursue the certificate must complete the full application for admission to take additional courses and earn the Paralegal Studies Certificate.  Entry level classes include: Legal Research (you must also register for The Professional Paralegal course to complete the LexisNexis and Westlaw training), Legal Ethics, Civil Procedure and Contract Law.  Non-certificate status enrollment is not available for the Summer Intensive Program.

Application for Individual Courses and Non-Certificate Status Enrollment
In order to enroll in individual courses and/or be accepted as a non-certificate status student, you must submit:

  • Completed Application for Admission form;
  • Official transcript(s) of all college study posting degree(s);
  • Current Resume;
  • $35.00 application fee, non-refundable (payable to Georgetown University)
