NOTICE: the DMC will begin its summer hours on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. In the meantime, the DMC will be able to provide equipment for users who have already received training, but only by appointment and only during daytime hours.

Equipment
The DMC offers both basic and highly-advanced, professional video equipment. Using any advanced equipment will require training and planning ahead but is available to everyone within SCS, pending availability. Some of our advanced video equipment includes Sony EX1-R video cameras, DV-PRO 3-light kits, Sony wireless audio sets, and pristine fluid-head Bescor tripods. We also offer several powerful but simple-to-use Flip video camcorders.
Space & Software
The Mac Lab features 19 huge, wide-screen iMac computers. The lab is employed by many classes and workshops, and has some hours set aside for general use. When open, an experienced multimedia specialist will be available to help with any software questions you may have.
- The Mac Lab was designed to accommodate tasks from simple word processing to advanced video editing. Some of our software includes:
- Adobe Dreamweaver, Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Final Cut Pro 7 and the new Final Cut Pro X.
- Soundtrack Pro and Compressor.
- MS Office 2008.
