Course Description

Students collaborate with the subject matter expert to apply instructional design and social impact concepts to create a Content Outline featuring relevant social justice frames for their online course project, the first deliverable in the online course development process. Using scenario-based learning, students dynamically contend with ethical considerations and real-world project management, relationship building, and communication challenges. Students present the final Content Outline to stakeholders.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Collaborate with the subject matter expert to develop a content outline
  • Assess the integration of social impact elements in the content outline
  • Collaborate with the subject matter expert to write measurable learning objectives
  • Present Content Outline to stakeholders
  • Write project status update to stakeholders
