Course Description

The course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of Predictive Project Management Fundamentals. The course teaches students how to deliver valuable outcomes with a predictive project management approach. Throughout the course, students acquire the essential knowledge on project management process groups, knowledge areas, best practices and tools to deliver value to their organizations.  Through readings, videos, lectures, experiential learning, and demonstrations, students gain understanding of predictive project management concepts and essential skills.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Explain the value of predictive project management and the project manager in achieving the organization’s strategic objectives.  

  2. Establish scope that maximizes the value of your project and structure project work and resources to capture project benefits.

  3. Apply predictive planning techniques to determine and manage project schedule and cost baselines.  

  4. Identify, acquire, and manage internal and external resources to deliver at quality.  

  5. Monitor and control project work to deliver value.
