She teaches, Elements of Communications Planning and Capstone.
She is a strategic creative communications and marketing leader with experience producing outstanding campaigns, programs, publications, and marketing materials that deliver on corporate and organizational goals and objectives.
Her career in academia began in 2006 as an adjunct professor at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She developed and taught three courses in public relations and communications, and one in communications technology.
Brigitte is a 20-year member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and served as president of the National Capital Chapter in 2011. She also held leadership positions in the chapter as a board member, APR co-chair and a delegate to the PRSA International Assembly. She has served as a judge for PRSA’s national Silver Anvil Awards and served as chair of PRSA-NCC’s Thoth Awards. Currently, she is chair of the ethics committee.
Brigitte is the recipient of many prestigious communication awards including MarCom, Davey, The Communicator, Silver Inkwell, Addy, APEX, and LACP for writing, art design, magazine design and production.
She holds a M.S. in Management and Marketing from the University of Maryland University College and a B.S. in Communications from Towson University.
