Talking Politics: The Road to the 2016 Presidential Race

We cordially invite you to attend our event “Talking Politics: The Road to the 2016 Presidential Race,” hosted by The Georgetown SCS Master's in Journalism Program and The Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service.

Featured panelists:
MSNBC Senior Political Editor, Brooke Brower
CNN Political Director, David Chalian
Former DNC Communications Director, Mo Elleithee
The Daily Beast Columnist, Kristen Soltis Anderson

Moderator:
Jefferson James, Master's in Journalism student and current President of the Society of Professional Journalists, GU Chapter 

The event will be conducted in a conversational style and will discuss issues including how the media is covering this presidential campaign cycle and how that coverage is different than or similar to previous campaigns. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the panelists. 

The on-the-record discussion will be open to Georgetown University staff, current and prospective students, alumni as well as members of professional journalism associations we partner with. 

The invited participants will be encouraged to engage on social media about the event using the official hashtag #HoyasTalk2016.
