Graduate Student Life Retreat

16 Oct 4-5pm

17 Oct 4-5pm

Need some quiet? How much fellowship and reflection?

Join Chaplain Michelle Siemietkowski and fellow graduate students for a one-night retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The retreat will offer a simple introduction to Ignatian spirituality. No prior retreat experience is necessary, and all are welcome.

Contact Michelle Siemietkowski (siemietm@georgetown.edu) for details and to register.

When: October 16-17, 2015
We will depart Georgetown's main campus by chartered bus at 4pm on Oct. 16, and we will return to main campus at 5pm on Oct. 17th.

Where: The Calcagnini Contemplative Center (CCC), Georgetown University’s retreat center, is situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The CCC provides a welcoming space for overnight and weekend retreats, and is also ideal for one-day retreats and administrative meetings. Located on 55-acres of picturesque grounds in Bluemont, VA and overlooking the Shenandoah Valley, the contemplative center is less than 75 minutes from Georgetown University. The contemplative center was made possible through the generosity of Arthur Calcagnini (C’54) and his wife, Nancy.

What to Bring With: We ask participants to please come prepared with a suitcase or duffel bag filled with toiletries and a few changes of clothing.

We will be sleeping in dormitory style bedrooms with private bathrooms (not camping-style), and food will be provided.

Get social! Be sure to tag @GeorgetownSCS in any social media posts related to the retreat!
