YOUTH 20x20 2016 sponsored by WBG ITSEA and Y2Y

10 Feb 3-5pm

Has technology helped you in a significant way? Do you have a story to share? The World Bank invites you to submit your story to speak at an upcoming event at the World Bank Group.

The World Bank Group’s Youth2Youth (Y2Y) and the Information & Technology Solutions Enterprise Architecture (ITSEA) team are jointly sponsoring this creative event. The platform models the PechaKucha 20x20 format, which began in Japan and is being enjoyed in more than 800 cities around the world. PechaKucha events are fun, informal gatherings where creative people get together to share their ideas through a simple presentation format of 20 images for 20 seconds each.

The World Bank invites young speakers to share their unique story of how “technology has impacted your life.” Technology touches and impacts people’s lives all around the world and everyone has a different experience.

If you are interested in sharing your story, please reply by December 31 with a brief summary of the story you will share. Presentation topics can include social, health, environment, development, personal or anything else. Questions and submissions can be sent to wbg20x20@worldbank.org.
