Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies is pleased to present the “Think Again” community lecture series, developed to highlight the outstanding scholarship of the programs and faculty of Georgetown University. This lecture series–hosted by the Graduate Liberal Studies programs–will introduce the Washington, D.C., community to new perspectives on historical events with an eye to the future. In this inaugural offering, the “Think Again” community lecture series will focus on “The Consequences of World War I Peacemaking”, in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War.     

Refreshments will be provided. Tickets are $39.50 with discounts available for multiple ticket purchases. Advanced ticket sales recommended. No cash ticket sales on site on day of the event. 


Speaker: David M Goldfrank, Ph.D.
Lecture Title: From Russia to Soviet Union to Russia

Professor in the Department of History, Prof. Goldfrank is heading a multi-disciplinary project, "The Global Middle Ages," to produce teaching modules useful for courses in all of the humanities. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Washington-Seattle, Dr. Goldfrank is an expert in Russian history and is the author of several books including A History of Russia: Peoples, Legends, Events, Forces and The Origins of the Crimean War.
