Retail at a Crossroads: Strategies for Competition in a New World

Retail is undergoing a fundamental change as it adapts to the age of omnichannel commerce. To meet changing consumer demands, retailers and landlords around the globe are changing the ways they compete for visitors, customers, and sales.

Examining today’s market through the lens of other industries that have undergone major changes, this presentation will put the four corners of the retail market in perspective, highlighting examples of retailers and projects that have adapted their businesses to bring value to today’s consumers. There will also be a discussion on the proposed strategies for today’s real estate professional and how future deal terms might change as a result of these essential shifts in retail and real estate.
