We invite you to participate in a sample class for the Master's in Journalism program at the SCS Downtown campus. You’ll have the opportunity to get an inside look at the program by exploring an in-depth topic.

Class: Ethics in Journalism
Instructor: Brooke Van Dam, Ph.D.
Description: Two of the biggest moral dilemmas for journalists today are sensationalism and the constant need to be first. This class explores those two journalistic minefields and tries to help come to some ethical guidelines journalists can work under.

Event Agenda:

  • Registration begins at 5:00 p.m.
  • Class runs from 5:20–6:20 p.m.
