Dr. Michael Hughes is a Senior Scientist in the Personnel Selection & Development program at the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO).
Currently, he works with clients in both the public and private sectors, and he specializes in areas related to assessment, validation, statistical modeling and data analysis, research design, and test form assembly. As a researcher, his work has helped clients understand the predictors of turnover, factors related to employee engagement, and the impact of testing accommodations on the validity of test scores. His work has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of the American Medical Association. Dr. Hughes earned his Ph.D. in industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology in 2012 from the University of Oklahoma with a minor in quantitative methods.
