Linda Horowitz has ten years experience developing and implementing tourism programs that stimulate economic growth, social development and environmental conservation.
From hospitality operations in Kenya and South Africa to development projects spanning Mexico, Cape Verde, Morocco, Belize and the U.S., she has worked with national tourism authorities, destination management organizations, industry associations, tourism enterprises and communities to build consensus and develop models for sustainable tourism. Her specializations include product development, market research, public private partnerships, sustainable tourism management, value chain analysis and destination marketing. Organizations she has worked with include Brand Kenya Board, Serena Hotels, Heritage Hotels, U.S. Travel Association, the George Washington University and Solimar International among others. Horowitz holds a Masters Degree in tourism from George Washington University and a BSC in Hotel and Tourism Administration from California State University East Bay.
