Hilary has spent over 15 years in the defense, intelligence and cybersecurity industries.
She spent over a decade with a large defense contractor in the DC area, providing technical leadership and project management to a number of programs across the Department of Defense including the CVN 21 Future Aircraft Carriers Program and US Air Force Special Operations Command’s Next Generation Remotely Piloted Aircraft Command and Control Operations Center. Her work focused on requirements engineering; modeling and simulation; enterprise and system architecture development and analysis; and system of systems design, integration and test. Following this, Hilary served in an executive role at US-based subsidiary of a global anti-malware provider. In this role, she guided and executed efforts to engineer and deliver unique and otherwise unobtainable cyber threat information to customers within the US government and US national critical infrastructure sectors. Currently, Hilary serves as Vice President, Solutions Architecture for Secure Channels, Inc., where she designs, engineers and supports the implementation of advanced encryption solutions and provides cybersecurity systems engineering services that positively impact organizations’ cybersecurity in both policy and technical areas including authentication and authorization, data and communications security, data loss prevention and industrial control system security, among others.
Hilary holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University.
