Luiz Lobo is an innovative thinker and masterful communicator who specializes in human development and collaboration skills. He has international experience as an executive coach, crisis manager, creative media and events producer. During the U.S. transition to digital television, he helped put video interactive projects into motion for PBS. He then debuted Earth Trails: Mississippi River, the first live PBS interactive broadcast done entirely in 16 x 9 widescreen format. With a later and vast history in high-level diplomatic relations, working as a consultant for the UN, he is also an avid speaker and mediator. He started his career as a broadcast journalist and news anchor, wrote and produced stories and interviews for assignments at PBS, CBC, The History Channel, CNN International, and The Dutch Public Network. The University of Iowa is his Alma Mater. Mr. Lobo came to Georgetown University in December of 2016 and teaches Social Media Strategies at the School of Sports Industry Management.
